The Brief
To adapt the Australian tour’s existing site into a UK‑specific version that felt seamless, cinematic, and ready to scale for future international dates. This project brought the beloved Love Actually Live in Concert experience to UK audiences with a fully custom website built on Carrd.

Details
Working in collaboration with JOY Concerts, I wanted to mirror the visual identity of the Love Actually brand through use of approved film logos, stills, and promotional imagery. The layout follows the structure and flow of the Australian site — the result is a landing page that feels official, festive, and easy to navigate, with clear pathways to purchase tickets and explore tour information.

Hi! I’m Ala Lockhart, Ay‑la — like bay.
My path started with illustration, and a love for visual storytelling.
But, Creativity happens to run in my family...
My dad studied at SVA, my brother is a SCAD‑trained animator, and my mom, could turn beads, fabric, and wire into works of art. With that background, it’s no surprise I found my way into design.
After my time at FIT I began my career as a freelancer, later joining an agency where I worked on branding for workplace consulting, cosmetics, jewelry, and lifestyle products. Over the years, I’ve created everything from logos and packaging to social media campaigns, banners, and full brand systems for over 50+ businesses worldwide.
Design, to me, is a way of opening doors — it shapes how we see the world and how we connect with one another. I love the problem‑solving side of design just as much as the creative side: the tiny details, the iterations, the moment when everything finally clicks. Now with AI around every corner, I’m even more passionate about creating visuals that feel intentional, engaging, and most importantly, human.
